In this paper we will present briefly explains the new features of Windows Server 2008 R2 along with other Microsoft technologies that enable companies compiling a virtualization strategy. Using the benefits and capabilities of the new server operating system will be created virtualization strategies that are more easily planned, implemented and administered than in any other version of Windows Server. Windows Server 2008 R2 was built on the foundation of Windows Server 2008 which already provide increased security, reliability and performance.
