Microsoft released a patch for DoS attacks on servers
Traditional Microsoft released patches or package that will address not less than 25 vulnerabilities – some already harvested, but many still undiscovered by attackers. Traditionally the company since 2003, Microsoft releases security updates the second Tuesday of each month. One of the 11 security patches released today, labeled as “Important” will solve the problem of type DoS (Denial of Service) discovered in versions of Exchange Server (2000, 2003, 2007 and 2010), while the other two will suites fix vulnerabilities in Office XP, 2003 and 2007. The other eight updates, five considered “critical” solve problems of Windows operating system, versions affected are Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Server 2003 and Server 2008 (R2). At least seven of the 11 patches will require restarting the computer.
